Leigh is 5 years old when her mother got pregnant. Before Leigh feels that she had all the attentions of her parents, as well as her grandparents and her aunties on the side of her mother since they all live in one house. When Mrs. Riza (mother of Leigh) gave birth to her second child Lycie Jane, they noticed the different behavior of Leigh, she became jealous . According to her mother, grandmother and two Aunties, sometimes they saw Leigh hurting her baby sister, pushing her hands and arms and throwing pillows to her face. Her grandmother said “we are very much worried to Leigh’s behavior”. That’s why, she keep on telling and reminding to the mother and aunties of Leigh that when she is not around don’t let Leigh to be the one whom looks for Lycie because she might hurt her sister or might do something which is not good. According to one of her auntie, before Leigh is not acting like that, she is kind and lovable niece. She said” maybe Leigh is acting like that because she thinks that we don’t love her anymore and she feels that our attention is always on Lycie which before she has it, that’s why she is hurting her baby sister now”. According to the entire family members, Leigh is not yet aware of being “ate” to her new sister that’s why she is acting like that.

PERSONAL DYNAMICS
D.4 SELF-MASTERY
Leigh is good in memorization. She can easily answer simple questions when she was only 3 1/2 years old. She can say clearly her full names, her age, her exact address, both mothers and fathers name. In school she is well participated in school activities. She can also know what clothes she wants to wear, can brushes her teeth alone and go to the toilet and wash by her. At her age she is little bit independent in simple things.
D.5 RELATIONSHIPS
Leigh is much attached to her grandmother because she is the one who taking care of her when she was a baby because her mother is working as a teacher her father is also working. Her grandmother stands as her mother; she took more of the responsibility being parents of Leigh almost at the time. That’s why she is much closer to her grandmother than to her parents.
D.6 ACTIONS
Leigh is capable of dancing, singing, acting. She is good in writing, reading, coloring different pictures. She can recite alphabets, numbers 1-100; recite poems, read simple sentences and phrases. She can also identify the different kinds of animals live on land, water, and air. She can also add and subtract numbers, can read the time. She is very active in school
v SECTION E Theoretical Framework
Leigh begins to change her behavior when her new baby sister Lycie was born. She became jealous that sometimes leads her to hurt her sister, pulling the arms and hands and sometimes she throws pillow on the face of her baby sister when someone is not around. The entire family is very much worried to this kind of behavior Leigh possesses.
I related Leigh’s problem behavior in Piaget’s Stages of Cognitive Development which is the” Egocentrism,” means self-centered. This is the tendency of the child to only see his point of view to assume that everyone also has his same point of view. The child cannot take the perspective of others.
In part of Leigh she became selfish that’s why she possesses jealousy. She wants all the family members to focus their love and attention only to her, because she used to feel this affection when she was born and even before she has a new baby sister.
v SECTION F Prognosis
Based on how I understand Leigh’s problem behavior, jealousy is a common behavior to a child if she or he used to feel all the affection given by all the people around her. Like on Leigh’s case she begins to feel jealousy when her new baby sister was born. She’s not yet prepared to be the elder sister to the new baby. That’s why she is not aware what kind of attitude or behavior she needs to possess. She became selfish in a way that she doesn’t want her grandmother to carry her sister when her mother is not around. Because before when she was a baby her grandmother is always carrying her. She is very much attached to her grandmother because since she was a baby both her parents are working that’s why she really feels the jealousy now every time she saw her carrying her sister. Until now both her parents is working so the grandmother has no choice but to take care the baby. Sometimes one of Leigh’s aunties is helping her and also took care of Leigh, and sending her to school. As of now Leigh still wants the attention she used to feel before. She wants the entire family member to focus on her, to take care of her. Leigh is different in some other child that is excited to have a baby sister or brother. That’s why she has a behavior problem possesses now which is jealousy.

v SECTION J Therapeutic Result
Leigh has done all the activities given to her. As what I observed she doesn’t have the hard time answering all the activities. Simple instruction given to her she is quickly got it. That’s why I don’t also have the hard time giving her activities. For the first activity she answered it well, she start to read the simple phrases and after that she find the picture related to it before she match it. In the second activity given to her, she reads the short poem clearly and fluently. One thing I observed and like about her is, she is asking the words which are unfamiliar to her and she asks for its meaning. And for the last activity given to her, I observed that there’s a big progress to her because after hearing the story regarding to the good relationship of each member of the family and ask her what she think is the moral lesson of the story she has a self reflection in having a good relationship to her baby sister. After the activity she went to her sister and she kissed and hugs her. So I can say that I accomplish my objectives to her. The given activity helps her to change her thoughts about her sister being that she is not getting the attention of their family but she gives happiness to them as well as her. She is now developing a good relationship to her sister.
v SECTION K Conclusion/ Recommendation
I therefore conclude that a child used to get all the attention from the people around her may have the hard time to adjust when this attention will get from her. On the part of Leigh she’s not yet ready to get this attention from her. So when her new baby sister born she thinks that the baby will get all this attention from her because she saw the entire family member is happy with the baby. And she thought that all of them will ignore her and not happy with her. This is the reason why Leigh possesses the behavior of being jealous.
I recommend to the parents as well as the other members of the family of Leigh that they still need to give their attention and affection to her. Let her feel the security that she still part of the family and they are also happy having her. Support and praise her in all the things she is doing so that she may not feel that she is ignoring or rejected so that she will not develop other problem behaviors.
